Subscribers can also generate transcripts for downloaded episodes outside their selected ad-skipping feeds. Transcript generation needs a downloaded episode and processing time. Server generation needs an internet connection and is subject to usage limits.

Yes. Create an account in your browser, choose a subscription, and enable ad skipping for a public podcast or supported private RSS feed. PurerPodcasts prepares the latest episode automatically. You can listen and review detected breaks in the web player; no phone app is required.

No. Detection can miss an ad or mistake another segment for one. Results depend on the episode and analysis. Visible breaks and correction controls let you review what happened.
How do I cancel a subscription?
For a web purchase, sign in and open Billing to manage your subscription. For an Apple or Google Play purchase, use the store account that purchased it. Deleting an app or closing a browser tab does not cancel recurring billing.

Do I need to keep PurerPodcasts open?
No. With an active subscription and ad skipping enabled for your selected shows, episode analysis continues in the background—even when your browser is closed. We start with the latest episode when you enable a show, then automatically check for and prepare new releases.

Yes. Choose Keep when the skip countdown appears to hear the segment. You can also edit a detected break or report an incorrect result.

What can I share with PurerShare?
You can share an episode link with a chosen starting point and ad-skip timestamps, including edits you've made. Check the sharing options and availability shown in the app for that episode. Sharing does not transfer a podcast membership or grant access to a private feed.

Does this affect podcast creators?
Skipping means you may not hear an advertiser’s message. You can choose to hear a segment and support favorite shows through their own subscriptions or memberships. PurerPodcasts adjusts playback rather than publishing an edited version of a podcast.

How much time goes to podcast ads?
In our internal analysis of thousands of podcast episodes, detected ad segments accounted for 9.9% of runtime, or about six minutes per hour.
Detected ad time is not a measure of time actually skipped during playback. Detection can miss ads or mark other content incorrectly.
