What we found

We reviewed 45 recordings from 30 podcasts, totaling 49.5 hours. For our 5th Generation algorithm (releasing in the next update), we measured what its detected skips would leave you hearing and what they would take away.

A missed commercial still interrupts your listen. An incorrect skip can cut out part of your show. We counted both separately because the conversation you came for matters, too.

What could that mean for you over a month?

If you listened to 28 hours (about a month’s episodes from three podcasts) with the same ad mix and detection results as our test, here’s what the numbers would look like.
